Every Thursday morning, Noah and I go to story time at the Angleton library. The coolest thing about this (in my opinion) is that it's the same woman who did story time when I used to go 25 years ago. And believe it or not, she still uses the same records -- yes, records -- and videos as back then! Noah absolutely loves going and seeing his friends and cousins there. They sing songs like "The Itsy Bitsy Spider," "Grandma's Glasses," "Good Morning!", and a song that involves tapping sticks together in the air and on the ground. The highlight for all the kids is the last song about a pony who walks, trots and runs as the kids walk, trot and run around the room. It can be total chaos! Afterwards, everyone plays in the children's section of the library and then goes to lunch at McDonald's. Then... nap time! Noah and I both love Thursdays :)
