Second ultrasound on January 13th: Dana was 8 weeks, 6 days pregnant. The amount of development in two weeks was amazing. Although in the pictures it’s hard to tell, at this ultrasound we could see the arms, legs, umbilical cord, brain, spine, and heart. There were even small movements! Our baby measured 24 mm and the heartbeat was at 182 beats per minute. He/she (although both of us have a gut feeling that it’s a boy) nearly quadrupled in size in just two short weeks!
