Quick update... and nursery pictures!

First of all, I got a call yesterday that I passed my gestational diabetes test -- wahoo!! I've been a little concerned about it because of how prevalent diabetes is in my family, so that was excellent news.

Second, I had my first baby shower on Saturday, hosted at my dear friend Nikki's house. She and the other hostesses did a wonderful job on the food and decorations, and I was overwhelmed by how much hard work had gone into it! Thank you, thank you, thank you to all of them and to everyone who came. It exceeded any expectations I may have had. Unfortunately I only got a few pictures on my camera, but I will post some when I get them from Nikki.

Finally, nursery pics! Brian has worked so hard over the past month or so, and I know he is so relieved to have it done. We should be getting our bedding, curtains and accessories soon (my work friend is making all of them), then we'll be that much more prepared for Noah to get here.

View from the door -- the bassinet will be in our room for a while after Noah is born.

Dresser and hutch (and some of our wonderful shower gifts). Obviously we have some organizing and putting away to do! The hamper in front is filling with Noah's ever-growing wardrobe.

And of course, the molding that Brian put up so painstakingly near the ceiling and floor. I love it because it kind of breaks up the green so you don't feel like you're inside an apple Jolly Rancher!
