As you can see in the picture, Noah is two months old already! (Actually, two months and a few days when that picture was taken because I forgot to do it on his actual two-month birthday. I'm going for mother of the year here, in case you can't tell.)
We had his two month check up and vaccinations on Tuesday. He turned tomato red and screamed for a few seconds with the shots, but overall I think they were tougher on me than on him.
Noah is growing and gaining weight right on target, despite his week-long feast of eating every hour and a half! He is now 13 lbs. 4 oz. and 24 inches long; he's in the 85th percentile of height, weight and head size.
He has gotten so much more attentive and interactive in the past few weeks -- it's been incredible to watch. He now smiles back if someone smiles at him, and he is content for close to an hour lying in his bassinet watching and "talking" to a little piggy toy hung above him.
Noah has been a baby-on-the-go the past few weeks, with trips to my office and to Brian's, a trip to north Houston to visit a friend, trips to my MOPS meetings every other Wednesday, and a VERY ambitious (and surprisingly successful!) weekend shopping trip to Canton/Dallas a few weeks ago. Next weekend we will be traveling to Indiana and Louisville, Kentucky, for my cousin Jon's wedding. Despite my fear of flying, I will try to keep it together for Noah's first flight... we'll see how it goes.
Overall, we are so in love with this little person and can't believe that he came into our lives only two short months ago! Parenthood is everything we thought it would be and more.
It's so good to see this little guy at two months. He looks so healthy and happy.
