Update on Bennett

With all the photo blog entries, I almost forgot to post what's going on with Bennett!  Hope that's not going to be his second-child destiny the rest of his life! :)  I had my 36 week appointment a few days ago and all is looking great.  Bennett has an official eviction date set -- Wednesdsay, October 5th.  Two and a half weeks!!!  As of now, he seems pretty cozy where he is, so I don't anticipate going into labor before my scheduled c-section; my body has made absolutely zero progress in that direction.  Like his brother, Bennett is still very high in my belly, which is probably due to how large his head is.  We didn't have an ultrasound this time, but based on the measurement of my uterus, he's definitely continuing to grow grow grow and is now about two and a half weeks ahead.  We don't have an accurate estimate of size, but I don't anticipate that he will be much different from Noah in terms of birth size.  Bennett's room is officially ready for him to come home! (I'll post pictures very soon -- we're thrilled with how it turned out.)  He has clothes in the closet, pajamas in the drawers, sheets on his bed and burp cloths in his basket.  Brian's office is hosting a baby shower for us this week, so hopefully we will come away from that with that one thing Bennett is lacking:  diapers!  Brian will also be installing the carseat and getting the baby swing out of the attic tomorrow and we should be completely done.  What a relief!!
