Houston, we have a name!

Thank you all for the name suggestions -- we added almost all of them to our list for consideration!

After another ultrasound yesterday confirmed that the baby is DEFINITELY a boy (with photos to prove it), we've finally settled on a name: Noah Christopher Ernst.

As a background story, when Brian and I first started trying to have a baby and realized it might take longer than we anticipated, we were a little sad and scared. But it seemed like over the following few weeks, we saw so many rainbows -- more than we had ever seen before. We felt like it was God's way of reassuring us that everything was going to be okay, just as He used the rainbow as a sign of his covenant with Noah and all of mankind. At that point, we decided that when we had a son, we would name him Noah. Christopher is Brian's middle name and a derivation of his mom's name, Christine. It was important to us to include her in our child's name as well.

Other than that, things are still moving along. Brian led his church retreat last weekend, so he has a little more free time on his hands now -- good thing, since I want to start painting the nursery soon! :)
